One Voice for Asia is a faith-based mission. That means that we trust the Lord to provide for our needs through faithful partners who support us financially on a monthly basis.

We know that ultimately God is our provider. We also know that He love to work through His people and that is why we are making this need known.

Please pray with us that God would move on the hearts of His people to partner financially on a monthly basis. Pray that He would bless those who partner with us financially and in prayer.

We have a number of ministry financial needs above and beyond our regular monthly support needs. Our current projects include the following:

1. Hong Kong - Bible School

   A number of the refugees that we work with in Hong Kong have asked about further Bible School training. In January 2009 we launched our Bible School with seven students. Since then we have grown to ten students. We are using a correspondence based curriculum that is fully accredited. This will allow our students to work towards receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible & Theology. A three credit hour course costs about USD $40.00.

2. Nepal - Leadership Training

   In March 2009 we launched the Million Leaders Mandate (MLM) leadership training program in Kathmandu, Nepal when we trained over 200 Nepalese pastors and Christian Leader. We have committed to return to Nepal every six months for three years (2009-2011) to teach another conference.

Pray that our Father would continue to work in us and to strengthen our marriage. Every marriage goes through its up-and-downs as God works in each spouse to make us more like Jesus. Even more so a marriage in ministry.

Pray that we would be able to stand against any attacks of the enemy, and when we have done all to stand, that we would STAND! Pray that we would continue to grow closer together. Pray that we would learn more and more how to work together and be a powerful team for the kingdom. Pray that God would bind us together in His love.

We live in a village in Hong Kong which is over 900 years old. There is a lot of traditional and ancestral worship that goes on in the village - burning of incense, lighting of fireworks (to scare the demons away), etc. The worship follows the lunar calendar, meaning that on certain days of the month (based on the cycle of the moon) there is more worship than on others. The spirits of religion, traditions of men, criticism, materialism, idolatry, violence, anger and disunity in relationships are all strongholds in the village.

Pray that we would not be slack in keeping our guard up against the enemy and that none of the strongholds in the village would affect us in our relationship with each other and those that we work with. Pray that we would be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and be led by Him as we go about our daily tasks. Pray that we would not allow ourselves to be affected by the spiritual atmosphere which is created by the worship in the village - especially on those days in the lunar cycle when the villagers are actively worshiping.

Pray that the Lord would give us wisdom and supernatural ability to learn Cantonese, the language they speak here in Hong Kong
